This luxury 16-person villa in Ferragudo Algarve with pool sits right beside the historic castle of Ferragudo, only a one-minute walk from the golden sands of Praia Grande. Once the castle’s original carriage house (cocheira), it has been beautifully transformed into a stylish beach residence, the perfect retreat for large families or groups of friends seeking space, comfort, and the authentic Algarve atmosphere.
The villa offers eight double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, washbasin, and toilet. The interiors are bright and elegant, and all rooms are equipped with air conditioning and underfloor heating, ensuring comfort all year round. At the heart of the house lies the spacious living area with a generous lounge, a dining table for sixteen, and a cozy bar. A mezzanine with an additional sitting corner overlooks the living room and kitchen, adding a unique open feel. For entertainment, there’s a large flat-screen TV and Sonos sound system.
The modern open kitchen is fully equipped with a large island, two refrigerators, freezer, wine cooler, two ovens, and two dishwashers, ideal for group dinners or cooking together. Sliding doors open onto the terrace with a 16-person dining table, outdoor lounge, summer kitchen, and barbecue. The multi-level garden is a true highlight, with sun terraces, fruit trees, and inviting seating areas. The private swimming pool forms the centerpiece, surrounded by sun loungers and parasols a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. Private parking for four cars is available on the property.
The location is unbeatable: just 150 meters from Praia Grande beach, where you can enjoy dinner and live music at Club Nau. The charming center of Ferragudo is only a ten-minute walk away, and the golf courses Gramacho and Vale da Pinta are less than five kilometers from the villa

Een super vakantie met neven, nichten en aanhang gehad in villa Cocheira! Goed contact met de gastvrouw. Voor ons echt een perfect verblijf en van alle luxe voorzien. Iedereen eigen slaapkamer met airco, badkamer en sanitair is top met een grote groep. Een heerlijk zwembad met genoeg ligbedjes, stoelen en parasollen. In de omgeving genoeg leuke uitstapjes (golfen, padellen, karten, restaurantjes, vlonder pad en niet te vergeten Slide&Splash!!!). Hopelijk komen we ooit een keer terug, het was fantastisch en een echte aanrader!

We had a wonderful time at villa Cocheira with my family and friends. We loved everything about the Villa, it is fantastic, even more amazing than pictures. It is situated in a gorgeous location, short walk from the beach and tons of things to do and visit within short driving distance. Great outdoor space with pool and lounge chairs and a beautiful set up for the whole group to have meals outside. Very responsive owner and extremely helpful manager provided us with local recommendations and answered my numerous questions. Would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone and would be happy to return any time!

Allemaal geweldig. De villa is beter dan op de foto’s. Zeer goed ontworpen voor 16 personen om samen te leven, elk met hun eigen ruimte. Beter uitgerust dan het zelfs lijkt (twee ovens, meerdere koelkasten, televisiezenders van over de hele wereld, gasbarbecue, geluidsinstallatie) en alles in perfecte staat. Zeer goed gelegen, u kunt aan de ene kant naar Ferragudo lopen, zelfs naar Portimao, en aan de andere kant naar het nabijgelegen strand (100 meter verderop). Bovendien vinden we bij aankomst welkomstbieren en wijn, een geweldig detail van de kant van de eigenaar en Natalia, die op een perfecte manier assistentie in de plaats garandeert. Hopelijk kunnen we terugkomen
