The house is in a very quiet location which gives one the feeling of being in the middle of a secluded forest. There are beautiful uninterrupted views out over the wooded "Glen" area just beyond the large, landscaped walled gardens and directly up to the dramatic Lion's Head mountain, which towers above the property. There are also ocean views to the left as well as back up to Table Mountain and the cable way, itself just a few minutes drive from the house. There are several different areas to entertain and relax in the large and beautifully landscaped garden, including two lawned areas, a good-sized sun deck by the large pool and a perfect spot for relaxing on a shaded terrace under a large plane tree.

The property is furnished throughout with top of the range finishes and a stylish blend of modern design and African touches. The interiors make excellent use of natural materials, such as the stone floors, walnut kitchen finishes and luxurious teak bathroom surfaces.
The house is on two levels, with most rooms looking out over the gardens and directly up to Lion's Head. The large, split level dining/living area has full-length glass sliding doors that fold back fully, opening onto a spacious terrace with outdoor dining table/chairs and loungers.
There are four stylishly furnished bedrooms in the main house, three of which have small balconies facing out to Lion's Head, with the fourth looking back towards the Twelve Apostles and Table Mountain. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed, whilst two others have regular double beds, and the fourth, which is a particularly large room and often used for children, has two twin beds. All four bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. There is also a separate laundry room, with washer dryer upstairs. There is a fifth bedroom slightly separate to the main house with its own entrance that opens out onto the pool-deck and this has its own shower room en suite.

Low season rates outside these dates are available on request. The summer season rates vary depending upon the number of guests, exact dates and length of stay.
