The newly built, luxurious Manzah al Jamil is situated in the exclusive Palmeraie area, 15 minutes from the city centre. A successful combination of traditional Moroccan charm and sophisticated contemporary design, the property is accessed by an entrance gate with two impressive towered gatehouses, then a palm lined driveway which winds gracefully across two lakes to the main house. At the entrance to the house, an elegant cascading fountain falls into a series of ornamental pools containing papyrus lilies, aquatic plants and fish. Within the 7 acre garden, filled with flowers, trees and vines, is a long reflecting pool, leading to an impressive 20 metre heated swimming pool. A summerhouse beside the pool has been designed for relaxing in the shade and there is also a gazebo for romantic dinners. |

The main hall has a cream polished stone floor with tadelakt walls and an Arbusson tapestry. This leads to a high vaulted gallery, which opens to a peaceful courtyard with fountain to the left and a large double-height salon to the right. The salon has an open fireplace, plasma TV, state of the art hi-fi equipment and, at the far end, a library, which leads to another loggia, furnished in colonial style. In an adjoining courtyard is an attractive dining area, close to a marble fountain, and with enchanting views across the reflecting pool and gardens. There is also a main dining room with open fire, fine wall tapestry and a large antique table.
