This charming and elegant bastide is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Puyricard, just 8 minutes drive from Aix en Provence. The main square with its boules players and Friday morning farmers’ market is just a few metres away. During the Arts Festival season there are concerts in the Romanesque church and, in July, performances at the nearby open air Théâtre du Grand St Jean. |

Entrance to the property is by a secure electronic gate, and a circular pathway leads to a gravel terrace at the front of the house. The house, with its beautiful light coloured façade and blue shutters, faces south, with the rooms opening to the terrace and large garden with lawns and trees. To the rear of the house is a swimming pool (11 x 6m) which can be fenced off for the safety of young children. The pool terrace has a covered area, furnished for relaxing outdoors. |

The light and spacious rooms have terracotta tiled floors and are painted in warm yellows. They are beautifully furnished with comfortable leather sofas, period furnishings and antiques. The Provençal kitchen is a particular delight and has a dining/breakfast room attached to it with large table and stone fireplace. Glass doors lead out from here to the back and the front, to a terrace with outdoor dining area, under a wrought iron canopy. Amenities at the property include TV, DVD and stereo.
