The main access to the house is through an open courtyard with wrought-iron gate. To the left of the courtyard is a covered terrace with large dining table, ideal for dining ‘al fresco’. On the right of the courtyard is a barbecue and a utility room. To the rear of the house is a lovely expanse of lawned garden with a swimming pool (12 x 6m), surrounded by a furnished sun terrace.

Villa interior:

The house has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard, in cream, dark reds and greens, and there are several antique pieces. The rooms are particularly bright and spacious with large archways connecting the living areas. There is satellite television, DVD, stereo CD player and telephone. Central gas heating and firewood are charged at 499 euros per week during the winter season.

First Floor
The stairs lead up to a landing with a spacious living/dining room with fireplace. Next to the dining area is a kitchenette, equipped with gas range, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge. Master bedroom suite with sitting area. Large bathroom with bath, double washbasins, bidet and WC. 2 twin bedrooms. Double bedroom. Spacious bathroom with double washbasins and shower on one level and, up one step, the bath, bidet and WC. There is also a washing machine in a corner in this bathroom.

Villa location:

This beautiful farmhouse is situated on a hillside, 300 metres above sea level, with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Built in typical southern Sienese tradition, the house was renovated in 1999, keeping the originality of the structure intact, including the arched brick ceilings downstairs, exposed beam ceilings upstairs and the cotto floors, while adding all modern amenities. The property is partially fenced in and there is a covered car park.
